I created this blog because my brother called me on Saturday to let me know that my sister-in-law Chellie had been diagnosed with leukemia. There were not many details available, but our family is committed to helping Chellie get better and stay cancer free. I will be providing updates on her condition as well as letting you all know what you can do to help the family through this stressful time. jdv

Into each life some rain must fall

We all know that while John and Chellie have good health insurance, it will not cover the loss of Chellie's income while she is being treated over the next few months. We have started a fundraising page to help defray the daily living expenses for their family so that they do not have to exhaust their savings while they are living on a single income.
